Andrew Pierce, Ashley Hudson and their Hamburg congregation knew they could never go back. Ashley, who was seventeen at the time, and had never been in an affair before, decided to take their time. But it was truly romance at first sight. Andrew was praying for Ashley on New Year's Eve, right ahead of the beginning of the new year in 2016, to God would give him one last blessing in the year. That Ashley would get married to him. Ashley really wanted to do a wooden folk themed wedding to symbolize Andrew as well as her. They incorporated their favourite things to create the perfect wedding. Ashley lived on 40 acres which were selected as their venue. The trail that they took across the fields they said "I do" in. Ashley had explored and played in all of it. Andrew and Ashley walked through the same space when they began together. It was important to personalize the event since the couple did almost all of it themselves. Andrew and Ashley's father built the seating areas and the arch used for the wedding ceremony. Ashley painted many of the decorations. Ashley says that we would not have had the magical wedding I envisioned if the wedding hadn't been for Anna's beautiful floral designs. Absolutely stunning.
